The Centre for the conservation of the boreal biodiversity (CCBB) / Zoo sauvage de St-Félicien, will be the host of the 31st annual Conference of the Canadian association of zoos and aquariums (CAZA) from October 18th to 21st at the Château Roberval Hotel in the Saguenay Lac St-Jean region. |

A winter feast for the moose!
|
|
A thousand unsold Balsam firs were recolted after Christmas and brought to the Wild Zoo as a treat for the majestic moose. The coniferous trees are a delight to the 23 moose present in the Nature Trail Park of the Wild Zoo. This collaboration between sellers and the zoo is a good exemple of sustainable development which is much appreciated by the moose and the public that can observe the animals by taking the train every week-end during winter! |

The Royal Bank sleeps with ...

Directors of the Royal bank of Canada from the Saguenay Lac Saint-Jean region plunged into the hearth of the Borealie in an adventure excursion with caribous on September the 22nd. The "Adventure in the land of the caribou” is an excellent team consolidation activity, as shown in this photograph. The group was accompanied by Chantale and Ariel, naturalists at the wild Zoo. |

Frost, thaw, long winter, so many good reasons to renew, refresh and clean before the return of the good weather. The site of Saint Félicien's wild Zoo will be closed in April to allow to all the team of the CCBB to offer a product and services of the highest quality. |
